Getting to Punta Trettu
Fly to Cagliari, take the ferry with your camper or drive down — here is everything you need for the last leg to the lagoon.
Book the shuttle →Flights to Cagliari (CAG)
Cagliari-Elmas is the closest airport — about 50 minutes from Punta Trettu. Direct flights arrive from many European cities all season (Ryanair, easyJet, Eurowings, ITA and more).
- Kite gear usually travels as sports baggage — check your airline's rules when booking.
- Alternative airports: Olbia (OLB, ~3 h) and Alghero (AHO, ~2.5 h) — only worth it with a rental car.
Ferry — with car or camper
Coming with your own van, camper or car? Overnight ferries run daily from the Italian mainland to Sardinia:
- Genoa / Livorno → Olbia or Porto Torres (Moby, Tirrenia, GNV, Grimaldi) — then ~3 h drive south.
- Civitavecchia / Naples → Cagliari (Grimaldi, Tirrenia) — Cagliari is only ~45 min from the spot.
Book cabins early in high season. At the spot you can stay on one of our camper pitches.
Rental car — optional
You don't need a car at KiteHub: courses, food and events are within shuttle reach. If you want to explore the island, all major rental companies have desks at Cagliari airport — pick-up on arrival is the easiest option.
